Hi,
I have been active only in fixing and expanding documentation, apart from a couple of minor PHP and gcc patches.
Since we are on Gitlab now, and the CI pipeline will quickly update docs->html , I plan to go through all the docs, fixing:
- bitrotted links
- change http to https, after manually checking I get the same page
- replacing links to references I think unstable with their website or archive.org snapshots
- updating HowtTos with recent distro information
This is mostly janitorial work, I do not plan to be making semantic changes.
As it would help to fix one set of issues, push, regenerate pages, and repeat, may I request commit access? Promise not to touch the code till I learn python or C :-)
Gary has been very helpful, but I think that I will be cluttering history with 'git rebase' due to the async between me making MRs, and seeing them appear in git head. Having commit access will prevent this.
