A nice guy uploaded gpsd 3.5 into the build repository of openwrt.org two
days ago.
I build a new image with openwrt for my little linux-box on base of a
TP-link MR-3020.
I can confirm that it runs very nice with three attached USB-RS232-Converters
(AIS, GPS, Seatalk-NMEA-Bridge)
It serves via Ethernet or wifi.
With Luci-GUI I can start and stop the daemon from a web-interface, so no
hotplug is needed.
Thanks to all developers of gpsd.
One Question remains: I have an old Chart-Navigator pro running on a
win-xp-machine which can read raw nmea-data from a tcp-port, but is not able
to start the delivering of data with a ?WATCH{"enable":true,"raw":1}; command.
Is there any command line parameter to force gpsd to deliver raw nmea-data
without waiting for a ?Watch from the client after establishing the
connection to the client?
