Hi Mikko,

For tables I recommend "Typesetting Tables on the Unix System" by Henry
McGilton and Mary McNabb (ISBN 09626289-0-5).
I think it may still be available. It is quite comprehensive and is easy to
follow but only covers the formatting of tables and really nothing else.
