Hello all!

Last night I installed groff from CVS with all latest patches and I managed
to convert all 4638 manual pages in my "local software installed from source
directory" to ascii,ps,dvi and html. No crashes or hangs. Good work.

Next test is running it on the main manual page directory which has 15,000
manual pages. I'll post the results.

Mark.

P.S. I'm working on a perl script that will let you do that on your machine
easily and we can add that to the cvs as a long regression test to be run
whenever a developer thinks that he may have broken something...:). This
script is not a good regression since it does not produce same results on all
machines because each machine has different manual pages installed. Still, it
is quite a good indication if you did something nasty. It took an hour to run
on my machine but it is currently written in a very inefficient way so I can
cut that down.
