In the general case, yes, I agree completely. But this is supposed to
be a manpage _about_ ANSI codes. I think it would be neat to have a
section in EXAMPLES that said, “if you’re reading this in a terminal,
the lines below show how it reacts to ANSI escape sequences”, and then
a few common and uncommon codes. Even in the case of non-ANSI
terminals, it would be educative IMHO.
