This is precisely where mom shines: the ease of creating stylesheets
and templates. The actual tag-set is quite small compared to the
number of macros that define the style for each tag. You might want
to consider designing some useful templates/stylesheets and bundle
them into your work. They, in combination with the ease of using
Markdown, would make the whole package very attractive to groff
newcomers.
