This doesn't work yet, because of the lexer bug I mentioned in the other thread,
but roughly:

menuentry "LOCK" {
  set menu_lock=1
}

menuentry "UNLOCK" {
  echo -n "Password: "
  read --echo=wildcard password
  if test $password=grubrocks ; then
    unset menu_lock
  fi
}
