I thought about that but decided to not do that as a part of this series.
I would like to remove worst warts and add description of new features
available in GRUB here. No more no less. However, longterm goal (after
2.02 release) is wider spec cleanup and merge with master (currently
Multiboot and Multiboot2 spec exists in separate branches which makes
visibility/availability/maintenance/etc. more difficult). Then I am going
to rename most of the files to multiboot2 and do other needed things.
