rigorous, dude. maintaining takes skill <toke!>. guile maintainers
have largely neglected subdir devel (cvs, not distributed), but have
started to take to TODO. i like the discourse on the mailing list but
definitely see its dissipative power all too well.
describing a variant of the protocol detailed is an easy extension of
the few procedural hints currently in the TODO. thus, that part of the
advice is a joy to take up.
because keeping historical perspective is not as fun as moshing, people
mosh until they're tired. a reflective interlude, if done right, serves
to polish the spheres so the next round is like billiards, and joy is a
more precise physics.

i say "we" in a slightly hopeful way. i'm a few ruminations from a
