Thanks. It is problematic, however, to #include <config.h> in
ffi-support.h, since that is installed (and config.h is not).

On my system, SIZEOF_LONG is #defined in fficonfig.h, which is
included by ffi.h. Could you check why this isn't the case on your
system? Here, I have 

Package: libffi2
Status: install ok installed
Source: gcc-3.3 (1:3.3.3ds7-9)
Version: 1:3.3.3-9

SIZEOF_LONG not being #defined might be because you have another
version.
