GNUpdate, automatic update of GNU packages in Nixpkgs

Hello!

I am happy to announce GNUpdate, a Guile 2.x program to automatically
update Nix expressions[*] for GNU packages in Nixpkgs{,-libre} [0, 1].
See the announcement [2] for details on what it does, and see the code
for how it does it [3].

Schemers might be interested in the port of Jim Bender’s excellent
‘sxml-match’ from PLT [4] or in the tiny FTP client.
