i grepped 'srfi' in guile-doc and guile-core but didn't find much, so
here's a quick page to get things started (fyi, it's also linked from
the index):

in other news: finally got around to checking out the guile webpages
using the new cvs server (savannah.gnu.org), and checked in David
Drysdale's tutorial.  let me know of any problems...
