What's the deal with sometimes requiring gtk 2 and sometimes gtk 3?
Some of the Xfce panel plugins just haven't been updated in a while and are still on gtk2, while the main Xfce has moved to gtk3, but the plugins still work.

If possible, please make one commit per package added. It's easier for people
auditing the stuff in the commit log later.
