hi guys,

i did some thinking about one of josh's great ideas -- the turing challenge project.... here's some thoughts i had while on the airplane. these are added to wiki. feel free to converse here on email or update wiki.

The idea would be to have dialog snippets based on different versions
of Alice. Can we use user feedback to improve Alice's behavior? How
do we ablate Alice model to get some interesting variability? How big
of a rating snippet do we need? Lets get some sample dialog
interactions....Maybe better than have people rate a snippet of
dialogue, the better idea would be to have the user rate the
appropriateness of two different reactions to the same statement. One
would be gen'd by a human the other by Alice or a variaation of Alice.
Is there a way to turn off the randomness in Alice or to control it
systematically? Maybe do this with our own chatbot?
