I think you'll find that the folks on this list -- and bug-bash -- are
generous and willing to help. But since everyone here is a volunteer, they
get to choose what they help with and what the terms are. No one is
obligated to help you.

You are right, but to say that if I continue with getopt or any long-option  

ideas I will not got any help from anybody is equally reprehensible. 

Nobody can talk for all people on the list on what topics to help or not.
