Compatibility Question

Hello,

I'm working on trying to get ecc (Intel's compiler) on an ia64
machine to compile a bison-generated parser.  However, I'm getting
compile time errors of the syntax variety, which is a little
unexpected.   The errors are coming from include files in the
ecc install.

So I'm wondering if there are constraints surrounding the code
that bison emits.  ANSI compatibile only, or gcc only...  Or
if ecc on ia64 is just not supported?  Any ideas/thoughts are
greatly appreciated.  Pointers to docs also are okay, though
I didn't see anything on my initial scan, that doesn't mean
the info might not be there.
