Could you be more precise as to why you would want that?

How to do it?

1. Learn how to program interfaces in Gnome or KDE
2. Strip the socket opening part
3. The simplest and probably the most reusable way would be to formulate MRML queries internally and to pipe them to your Qt code.
   Alternatively find out how to use the libMRML session manager.
