PostgreSQL can be interfaced to GLPK via ODBC. There are a lot of other data bases in the market like DB2, GNU SQL ,MS Access, MS SQL Server, Oracle ... It is impossible to provide a native interface for all of them in GLPK. Putting in a native MySQL interface has not really been a necessity.
Should the current GLPK-ODBC interface prove to be a bottleneck for serious applications I see room to rework it for speed up. My current impression is that reading and writing problem data takes a negligible time compared to solution time.

Hello everybody.I see there are examples for connecting to ODBC and MySQL data sources. Is there any demand for doing with with PostgreSQL?There is. Regards Andrzej MazurkiewiczJeff.
