Success!  I added the following two lines at the top of

font.monospace=font:Lucida Console,size:9

(I like the somewhat bolder font of Lucida Console compared to Courier New).  These two lines were sufficient to make the monospaced option work in the edit pane, and to have monospaced output in the output pane.

I'll update the GLPK Wikibook page on GMPL IDE's for MacOS to reflect this fixup.

Thanks for the help!

Hi, Jeffrey.

Perfect =) About output panel: I can't test it now, but maybe you can the set it by "font.small" property.

Another tip (from is just add the following to SciTEGlobal:

See Gusek ".properties" files for other customisations or seek for Scite properties (start here:

I have no problem with monospaced fonts on GUSEK under WINE, that works great.  But I do with GLPK Lab.

In looking through the for GLPK Lab, I don't see any reference to monospace. There is the file for gusek, but not for GLPK Lab.  So I added the line

font.monospace=font:Courier New,size:9

at the top of the for GLPK Lab and presto, the edit pane is monospaced.  But the results pane is not -- and I'm not sure how to set the fonts for that pane.

Any advice?

Hi, Jeffrey.

I'm not a MacOS user, but in linux, using wine, it seems to work.
Trying Gusek you experiment the same problem?

You can try change the definitions under file.
Search for "monospace" and try another fonts (like just "Courier", not "Courier New)".

I've got GLPK Lab running in MacOS using Winebottler (which I documented here  The only trouble is that the monospaced font option doesn't seem to work. The fonts are present in WINE, just don't seem to be used by the editor.

Can this be fixed in GLPK Lab?
