Xypron asked for the same thing, so I translated the XPS tp PS using ghost
piddle. See:

http://sourceforge.net/projects/iajaarh/files/I%20have%20a%20nephew.ps/download

To translate to PDF requires that some fonts are installed. As I don't really
want PS or PDF I havn't so far bothered.

My version of Linux (Slackware 13.1) can read XPS, I suppose lesser
distributions will catch up. The solution used by Slackware seems to be based
on CodeIgniter:

Welcome to CodeIgniter
CodeIgniter is an Application Development Framework - a toolkit - for people
who build web sites using PHP. Its goal is to enable you to develop projects
much faster than you could if you were writing code from scratch, by providing
a rich set of libraries for commonly needed tasks, as well as a simple
interface and logical structure to access these libraries. CodeIgniter lets you
creatively focus on your project by minimizing the amount of code needed for a
given task.

Who is CodeIgniter For?
CodeIgniter is right for you if:

You want a framework with a small footprint.
You need exceptional performance.
You need broad compatibility with standard hosting accounts that run a variety
of PHP versions and configurations.
You want a framework that requires nearly zero configuration.
You want a framework that does not require you to use the command line.
You want a framework that does not require you to adhere to restrictive coding
rules.
You are not interested in large-scale monolithic libraries like PEAR.
You do not want to be forced to learn a templating language (although a
template parser is optionally available if you desire one).
You eschew complexity, favoring simple solutions.
You need clear, thorough documentation.

This Platonic Ideal is given material form in Ocular. See:

http://webscripts.softpedia.com/script/Modules/CodeIgniter-Plugins/Ocular-63899.html

Ocular description

This is a template/layout library for CodeIgniter
It supports conventions for organizing and simplifying web apps, but maintains
plenty of flexibility nevertheless.

Here are some key features of "Ocular":

· Organized, conventions-based design that finds views based on
controller/method names
· Flexible ‘blocks’ with default views and easily changed at run-time
· ‘Flash’ messages that work both on the current view and through a page
redirect
· Built for multiple themes, either automatically based on user-agent, or
manually
· Allows for automatic rendering of different page-content types based on view
extension (Markdown, Textile, custom…)

Swig also produces wrappers for PHP, so we can look forward to server side glpk.
