merging tickets

Does GNATS offer any easy way to merge tickets?

So discussions and contacts (email addresses) from two tickets are put 
into one ticket. The number, category, synopsis, severity, priority, 
responsible, state, class is just kept from one ticket.

More important than just merging content is to allow the ticket to have 
multiple recipients, so when it changes all the recipients get the 
email. Any thoughts on that?
