JDE provides this by default.  If you don't want to use JDE, you can
put something like the following near the end of your file:

/* Local Variables: */
/* compile-command: "javac" */
/* End: */

Then you can type M-x compile RET to invoke the compiler.

I like BOTH kinds of music.
