so,
I have found that text whose color I don't specifically set in the
.emacs doesn't get the proper X background color.
I am using KDE 2.1 and emacs 19.34.1
(see attachment)
I have found that if I specify the a geometry on emacs startup it works
correctly and gets the specified background color
emacs.background: DarkSeaGreen
emacs.geometry: =110x50+140+60
Is this a problem with emacs? X? KDE?
