Using gnu emacs 20.7.1 and server-start, when I execute emacsclient
like:
$ emacsclient foo
Waiting for Emacs...
but foo has already been loaded in my current emacs session waiting to
be edited and closed with C-x #. I cannot comment on any version of
emacs prior to 20.7.1 though. Hope that helps.
