Right you are -- I oversimplified the example.  I should have mentioned
~/foo/ also has a CVS/ subdirectory.  So I get a "Completion List"
containing ./, ../, CVS/, and bar/.  I want CVS/ to be ignored like
./ and ../ normally are.
