steady stream of people have been introduced to
it for a long time.
slightly 'neath the swelling waves,
a few hooks beyond the frothy shore,
where modest programs do their saves,
churning text and likewise evermore...
the lively emacs accrues users and uses
wrecking mis-{s}expectations to utter grief,
gives b[ei]rth to who must refuse refuses
a buoyed-by-conversant {ba,me}rrier reef.
is there a cudgel made strong enough
to smash the cruft, raise waves of concern?
will ephemeral bow to sterner stuff
and stop the tidal tricks and turns?
monkey longs for sleep, unlike the fish,
whose delight and decay are emacs' wish.
