When I press Alt-x in an emacs window run from and xterm (emacs -nw)
the is bound to M-8- . However Alt-x is bound to M-x as it should
be for emacs running in its own window.
I am using fvwm in Debian/Etch.
My xorg.conf keyboard configuration is
Option "CoreKeyboard"
Option "XkbRules" "xorg"
Option "XkbModel" "pc104"
Option "XkbLayout" "us"
Would be grateful if you could give me a pointer on what
may be causing this problem and how to fix it.
sincerely
