The important differences affect the way Apple's File.h gets included. In the output of 'gcc E' you can see when a header file's contents is included (and also which header files the included files include themselves). Find the reason why CInfoPBRec does not get defined! And then you'll have a reason to open a bug report at Apple (https://bugreport.apple.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/RadarWeb.woa).
