Marcin,
I'm actually working on a rewrite of the Introduction, as I progress through
it. It's hard because I need to write code (and play with the kids, and work)
more than I have time to read the book and write additional pages...
I feel like a lot of attempts at writing introductions do not reach their
objectives because they are written by people who do not remember how it was
when they needed the introduction... That's my feeling when I read the
Introduction, even though I have a lot of respect for what Chassell did with
that book.
