Someone would have to add this notation as an option for \sustain*
pedals.  It should not be too difficult, we have a generic text
spanner that can already provide lines with standing edges
(and if necessary) text:

> down          up
> |_____________|


To get the /\ in

> down       up/down         up
> |____________/\____________|

the edges of the text spanner should be made a bit more flexible, now
you can only specify edge-height, possibly a width should be added.
