1.3.x will turn into 1.4 during the spring, I guess.  I wouldn't worry
about moving to 1.3.x, it should be stable.  There aren't any major
re-designs, only new stuff that may break things in minor ways.  I
view 1.2.x as for production servers, and 1.3.x for everything else.
