[Help-gsl] Cubic splines with least-squares fitting ..

I'd like to use a routine for fitting a cubic spline to a set of data
using least-squares fitting and where the set of knot points differs from
the original set of data points. Is there such a routine in GSL (note
that this is different from gsl_spline_init where the set of data points
and knot points are identical) ??
