I modified menu.lst to match my system's characteristics but the same thing happens again. It starts loading the hurd normally but after a while i see a 'panic trap' and the system reboots! What is the problem??? No clue. Can you show us your IRQ listing? Sounds like a IRQ conflict; which Mach doesn't take lightly at.
