Thanks for that and for the other replies.  I did search through the 
info pages but somehow I missed it.  I was focused on the word "target" 
in my search which is possibly why I missed it, I didn't realize that 
command-line targets were called "goals".  Or more likely I just wasn't 
very thorough.
