[Help-nano] Soft-Wrap and Show-Codes?

Help-nano appears to be dying, swamped by spam... I guess it needs to be

Since nobody appears to have responded to your question about soft-wrap:

Check your options in /etc/nanorc:

## Don't add newlines to the ends of files.
#set nonewlines

## Don't wrap text at all.
set nowrap
