Ah! You've found a bug. For people who don't use speech output,
the message "something not found" is overwritten so quickly that
they never see it. But... if you use speech... I guess that the
messages get queued and all of them get spoken?
I can kind of simulate your experience by replacing the "HUSH"
with "ALERT" in not_found_msg() in src/search.c. I don't know
yet how to fix this, but it shouldn't be too hard.
