Macro info

I've been using nano for decades (GNU/Linux) but only recently discovered that 
it is able to record and run macros, something that would be quite helpful to 
me at the present moment. It is clear to me how to record, then replay a macro, 
something I've already tested out. But I'm having trouble finding further 
information about this feature. For example, can I record more than one macro? 
If so, how do I recall/replay the various macros I've recorded? If anyone casn 
point me to further information on this feature I'd be greatly appreciative.
