Can someone please send me a copy of this along with any information
you have that says where it appears in a gnuplot distribution? In
beta340 (which appears to be the latest version on the
cmpc1.phys.soton.ac.uk ftp server) the Copyright file still contains:

  /*
   * Copyright (C) 1986 - 1993   Thomas Williams, Colin Kelley
   *
   * Permission to use, copy, and distribute this software and its
   * documentation for any purpose with or without fee is hereby granted,

   * distribute the modified code. Modifications are to be distributed
   * as patches to released version.
   *
   * This software is provided "as is" without express or implied warranty.
   *

I don't think this is any different than before.

Thanks,
