Re: Octave on a cluster

One of the researchers was actually running a job on octave which just finished
after about 13 hrs!
I do have disk space for installing Octave on each machine individually, but
that basically defeats the purpose of having a cluster. Better get a standalone
machine, install linux and Octave and let it run continuously!
So, what I wanted to know is whether there was a way of installing Octave on a
cluster where the machines could interact with each other while doing
computations.

p.s: I use Octave 2.1.34 at home :-) and I'm not saying Octave 2.1.35 is not
stable, just that I'm not incharge of deciding what software to install on the
machines here.
