prolems for running Octave on alphaev67-dec-osf5.1

Community of ++Octave:

After much work have built Octave-2.1.36 on alphaev67-dec-osf5.1,
however upon running the program I obtain the following error 
message:

409087:/usr/users/eseguin/bin/octave: /sbin/loader: Error: 
liboctinterp.so.2.1.36: symbol "_ZTI7SLStackIP5tokenE" unresolved
409087:/usr/users/eseguin/bin/octave: /sbin/loader: Fatal Error: 
Load of "/usr/users/eseguin/bin/octave" failed: Unresolved symbol 
name

This program has been compiled with the following version of gcc

   $ gcc -v
Reading specs from /usr/users/eseguin/lib/gcc-lib/alphaev67-dec-
osf5.1/3.0/specs
Configured with: ../gcc-3.0/configure --prefix=/usr/users/eseguin
Thread model: single
gcc version 3.0

For the same have employed the following options:

--enable-shared
--enable-dl
--enable-lite-kernel
--without-fastblas.

Any suggestion to solve this problem will be welcome.
