.oct fails

Hi,

I copied and pasted the mathpow.oct example available in the coda
tutorial. Though it compiles fine, when I run it I get seg fault. I
tested by commenting the entire body of the .oct function, but still
it seg faults. May someone tell me what I am doing wrong?
