Let's keep in mind that the wiki at http://wiki.octave.org/ is supposed to be a place to post compile/install information such as this, as well as any other useful information. A while back some vandals attacked that site, so now you have to get permission to post there. It is still a good place to look for ideas, and maybe that's what John is referring to as the FAQ, or maybe not.
No, the FAQ is http://www.octave.org/FAQ.html ------------------------------------------------------------- Octave is freely available under the terms of the GNU GPL. Octave's home on the web: http://www.octave.org How to fund new projects: http://www.octave.org/funding.html Subscription information: http://www.octave.org/archive.html -------------------------------------------------------------
