Hi Shai, I am using the following version ... GNU Octave, version 2.1.57 (i686-pc-linux-gnu). if I type ... help print I get the following response ... help: sorry, `print' is not documented In previous email exchanges on the subject I have seen references to __gnuplot_set__ again this is not known to my help system. There is no information in the online manual on print or __gnuplot_set__ As a novice user it's like everyone else is using a different program! NB I have tried using ... gset output 'lp -dqms15' because our printers are networked. This does not work either. Cheers Mark_B Shai Ayal wrote:
there is no dialogue to direct the output to a printer. try the print command: help print Shai John Mark BEAUMONT wrote:Hi, I use a Linux PC. How do I get a paper printout from Octave/gnuplot? I can get a plot window on the screen with my desired plot, but ...There seems to be no way to get a dialogue to direct the output to a printer.e.g. Xpdf has a printer icon at the bottom of the window.
