Dear Jordi and Steve,
I am currently in an institute where I have to use
MATLAB - when I am back in my home inst - I use
octave. So I hope the e-gp owners will forgive
conversation. Besides many things in MATLAB and Octave
are similar.
When I am back to using Octave and GNU PLot I will
take STeve's suggestion.
But for the moment, using Jodi's suggestion:
I get the LaTeX commands to print on the side of the
plot but it does not replace the earlier script .
Neither does legend appear anywhere.
If either one of you or anyone else help, I will be
very grateful. As I don't own a laptop, it is not
possible for me to carry around my work - if that had
been the case, I would have just coded in Octave even
though I have found that documentation is not very
good when one is starting out. But then I have
compensated by using MATLAB books.
