Hi,
I have just built the cvs version from last Friday on a RHEL 3 machine
with gcc 4.2 and gfortran.
Compilation seemed to have gone well but when I do "make check" I get a failure
on the first test:
---------------------------8<------------------------------------------
address@hidden: ~/OCTAVE/BUILD/octave-2.9.12+ % make check
make -f octMakefile check
make[1]: Entering directory `/home/software/OCTAVE/BUILD/octave-2.9.12+'
make -C test check
make[2]: Entering directory `/home/software/OCTAVE/BUILD/octave-2.9.12+/test'
../run-octave --norc --silent --no-history ./fntests.m .
Integrated test scripts:
src/DLD-FUNCTIONS/cellfun.cc ...........................error:
memory exhausted or requested size too large for range of Octave's
index type -- execution of ./fntests.m failed
error: cellfun: you must supply at least 2 arguments
make[2]: Leaving directory `/home/software/OCTAVE/BUILD/octave-2.9.12+/test'
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/software/OCTAVE/BUILD/octave-2.9.12+'
---------------------------8<------------------------------------------
the fntest.log is not very helpful, it just says:
processing
/home/software/OCTAVE/BUILD/octave-2.9.12+/src/DLD-FUNCTIONS/cellfun.cc
how can I check what is actually going wrong?
Thanks,
Carlo
