Yes, that is what it should be.

In computer-related topics "<...>" notation typically indicates an item of 
certain kind,
for example, if one wants to explain how integer variables are described in 
"C", he/she
would typically say:

int <var_name>;
,

here the whole "<var_name>" has to be replaced with actual variable name.
