http://gnuplot.sourceforge.net/development/index.html#PrelimBinaries ->
http://gnuplot.sourceforge.net/development/binaries/ ->
http://gnuplot.sourceforge.net/development/binaries/gnuplot-4.3.0-2008-06-03.tar.gz
.

Mouse zooming is the ability to change plot scale and observed plot area
using mouse.

gnuplot-4.2.1 supports mouse zooming, but not when called from 'octave'
because of the issue (related to UNIX pipes) in 'gnuplot'.

'gnuplot' built from the source snapshot supports mouse zooming also when
called from 'octave'.

  Sergei.
