Did you get a solid blue box?

The curve is there. Its just that it covers each pixel (you have 159,000 
sinusiods in a space that is less than 1000 pixels wide).

Try the example below instead.

    t = time(); x = linspace (0,5,10000); y = cos(2*pi*x); plot(x, y); time() -
