Hmmm.. it seems you installed one with the local flag while the other
has a system wide installation. I'll say just uninstall the package
(you may need to do it twice) and then reinstall it. This looks like a
bug, can you replicate it? And maybe submit a bug report with it here
https://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?group=octave ?
