I can not save images of graphs

Hi, I'm new!! I have downloaded Octave3.6.1_gcc4.6.2, from the link 
http://ignum.dl.sourceforge.net/project/octave/Octave%20Windows%20binaries/Octave%203.6.1%20for%20Windows%20MinGW%20installer/
http://ignum.dl.sourceforge.net/project/octave/Octave%20Windows%20binaries/Octave%203.6.1%20for%20Windows%20MinGW%20installer/
 
(the file is 168M).

But, I have a prblem: *I can not save images of graphs.*

When I use the command commands: or
, Octave crashes. You can Helpme?!?!?!

I need a simple explanation, as they are not very good with English
